Community Watch Program Needs Suggestions

Your views and interests are important to our Colington Harbour Community Watch Activities.
GOAL
The goal of Community Watch is to give potential criminals the feeling that everyone in the community is watching for suspicious activity in their neighborhood and that such activity will be reported to law enforcement.

BASIC PRECEPTS
Community Watch is a crime prevention program which enlists the active participation of Colington Harbour residents in cooperation with law enforcement to prevent crime in our community. Neighbors getting to know each other and working together on programs of mutual assistance to prevent crime, and Residents being trained to recognize and report suspicious activities in their neighborhood.

Community Watch recognizes that:
Law enforcement officers cannot be on every street, so everyone’s involvement is essential to combat crime, You and your neighbors are the only ones who know what’s really going on in your neighborhood, By cooperating with each other and law enforcement, people can help fight crime in their community in the most effective way  –  before it happens!
